WHO WE ARE
Empowering Women, Strengthening Families, Building Community
Ladies in the Family Foundation (LIFF) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering Black and Afro-Canadian women, girls, and immigrant families through emotional wellness, mentorship, leadership, and community connection. We create safe and inclusive spaces where women can build meaningful relationships, share their stories, and grow with confidence as they navigate life, work, and community in Canada.
Through culturally grounded programs, emotional support, mentorship opportunities, and community engagement, LIFF helps women and girls strengthen their well-being, develop new skills, and build lasting connections. Our mission is rooted in the belief that when women and girls thrive emotionally, socially, and economically, families and communities thrive alongside them.
By fostering friendship, leadership, and belonging, we aim to ensure that no voice is left unheard, no potential is left untapped, and every woman feels supported on her journey toward wellness and growth.
